Kornić on the island of Krk is a small idyllic place with ancient olive groves and a magical beach with a beautiful view of Puntarska Vala and the island of Košljun. It is about 6 km away from the town of Krk and 3 km from Punt. Kornić beach Dunat is located in Puntarska Vala, protected from the wind, which is why the sea is always pleasantly warm.
The beach is partly covered with gravel, while the remaining part is partly rocky and partly concrete. The town center is about 500 m from the beach. On the beach, there is a restaurant, a diving center, a wakeboard ski lift, and a beach volleyball court, and in the Kornić center, there is a shop, a bakery, a post office, a cafe, a tavern, and various other facilities. Right next to the beach is the church of St. Dunat from the 12th century, which is said to have been built as a solar calendar.
